Japanese cars cost less and require less maintenance/repair.
I have a 2007 Rav 4 that has required almost no repair other than oil change and brakes. It has over 100,000 and running strong. My E61 also has over 100,000 miles and required much more repair, water pump, intake value cleaning, rear hatch, and now value cover gasket. I still like my german E61 and thinking about a M550. |
Agree, I have good experiences with Japanese cars

I think I'm not in the list because I jumped from Mercedes to BMW LOL. Actually, I don't understand why did you ask this question in a BMW forum ?

I went from BMW to MB AMG
|
I went from Lexus to BMW. I am now looking to get an x5m 2016-2017. But like others I am looking at MB-AMG as well. The e63 AMG wagon is a fine machine as well. I can’t seem to find one in cool colors. Seems like exterior is literally 3 vanila colors and interior is the same. I want something more Standoutish.
My mechanics have also said that MB seems to be built a lot better than BMW. At least there is a whole lot less plastic used for the important bits. They also suggest I stay away from Audi, but I’m not sure, not my cup of tea anyway. |
