Ximeta users?
 
ANybody uses any ximeta network hard drives?
I need an older software NDAS 3.10 build 1218. thanks

I use one and will look to see if I have the original sw.

thanks. the software company does not want to give me the older version, insisting to install the newer version.
Luckily , i found one on a Russian site...English version.

My wife thinks I'm crazy but I hold all sw for 3 years before tossing it. It's saved my bacon on more than one occassion. As a side note, my Ximeta failed two months ago. We lost about 10% of our photos. Needless to say I now mirror the Ximeta.

Damn, one of my ximeta ( i have 2) failed 2-3 times , it says corrupted data( i guess too much porn stuff:rofl: )...but i immediately connect it via USB, then use chkdsk to automatically fix errors, and no data loss, then connect via network again

Sounds like a complete failure is imminent. I would not be depending on that drive!

I agree, at the least I would run SpinRite.
