I hate when salesmen treat potential buyers that way. Twenty years ago I walked into a BMW dealership, interested in buying my first BMW (325i). I was wearing jeans and t-shirt. The salesman literally wouldn't talk to me. I looked around and left. Went back a week later, after being at the hospital for part of the day, wearing a tie. That same salesman almost broke his neck trying to cross the lot to greet me. I told him that he had ignored me the week before, and I would not talk with him now. I selected a different salesman and bought the car right then.

It was fun. :kungfu:

i should have clarified, the set of people i was referring to had a lot of piercings and were dressed gothic/punk. jeans and a t-shirt, or a suit, i make no real distinction. there is no way i would have worn a suit to the autoshow. but these punk dressed people just didnt look like they belonged. like i said, i know im stereotyping, but i wanted to clarify
