It must be nice to be the Vice President. It wasn't my fault, he was in the wrong place and I don't need to explain. Could you imagine if God forbid an everyday person had a hunting accident. Big difference in the rules that apply to the rest of us. :dunno:

Yeah, I loved how they worded that. Something like, "Mr. Whittington was in the way of the shot, and was 'peppered'..."???

They said that? I thought hunters were supposed to be responsible for where they aim their weapons.

Bunch of bullshit - he didn't even tell the President, oh by the way, I did something real stupid that's going to hit the press. Don't get me started....

You listen to Bob and Tom, don't you? lol

They had this comedian on this morning singing that very song. Very funny stuff.

Getting hit by the occasional BB on a quail hunt is a normal thing, and these type of accidents like with Cheney aren't uncommon.

If you've been quail hunting you would understand this, but the vast majority of Liberal media types that are makeing (sensationalizing) these storys in the papers, wouldn't even know what a quail is!.

Just so happens that I am a liberal and a hunter. You are right, this does happen too often. Looking at Cheney I find it hard to believe that he could have a good time :tsk: - so I assume alcohol wasn't a factor. But I was always told to never take a shot unless I knew the location of the rest of my party.

BTW, here's something you won't hear on conservative tv... "the owner of the ranch, Katharine Armstrong has, in fact, lobbied the White House for Baker Botts. Baker Botts is a very powerful Texas law firm that represents Halliburton. Baker Botts’s lawyer William Jeffress also represents “Scooter” Libby in the criminal charges in the Plamegate scandal. Katharine Armstrong's business partner, Karen Johnson, represents Lockheed Martin and has very close ties to Karl Rove. Armstrong's parents, Anne Armstrong and the late Tobin Armstrong were the people who originally backed Rove when he started Rove & Company giving him capital that he needed to start the business. Rove's current office in the White House used to be occupied by Anne Armstrong when she was a leading figure in the Nixon White House. Most recently Anne Armstrong was a director of Halliburton when the board chose Dick Cheney to be the C.E.O. While she was on the Halliburton board, she was also on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board just like Ray Hunt is today while he sits on the board of Halliburton."

How cozy.
