Today marks the official 1 year anniversary of the launch of the X5world and X3world forums. We have truely grown from a small band of refugees to what I consider to be the premier community for everything that is BMW X5, X3 and more!

Some quick stats:

Members - over 4300 registered.
Unique monthly visitors to the site - 35,000 average
Premier Members - 128
Bandwidth utilization for February (short month) - 200+ GB
Threads - 11,500+
Posts - 105,000+

For all of this we have only our great members to thank!! And so, as a small way of saying thanks, we will be selecting some lucky winners for the following prizes:

1. For non-Premier Members that have at 50 or more posts, in a random drawing we will be giving 2 members a complimentary 1 year subscription to the Premier Member status.

2. For those that are at the Premier Member status, in a random drawing we will be giving away to 2 members up to $50 in spending money for any item(s) of your choice from the X5world store.

Jeff - Can't believe it has been a year. I joined 364 days ago when there was about 4 members and it feels like just 3 or 4 months ago. Congrats to you and Drex on the astonishing growth of this site. Your dedication and hard work has made this site THE premier X5 knowledgebase on the Internet, as well as the most enjoyable community of enthusiasts I have had the pleasure of hanging out with.

WOW! I didn't realize this site was so new. I found it doing research (lurking) for my X3 purchase probably around March 2005. Found a lot of helpful info here and wound up taking delivery of my X3 on June 30, 2005.

Around September 1st I took the plunge and joined. This must be the most friendly site on the web! I'm embarrassed to say my first post wasn't until then!

To all the X'ers here thanks for the great company, info, and FUN!

Thanks to Jeff and Drex for doing a superb job! Though I no longer own an X5, but I stick around because, just like your sig says, "where you come for information, but stay for the friendship".

Joined March 2nd. 364 days ago and I still have not found any place online this comfortable, this informative, and this much fun. So a whole-hearted congradulations to Jeff and Drex.Thanks very much for doing it right.
To add to the pleasure we just brought home a 2006 530i. Alpine White black interior.

What an amazing accomplishment! Really, from a bunch of malcontents hell bent on creating a forum of our own where no iron fisted, testicularly challenged Tony Soprano wannabes and no repost police lurked the halls waiting to bust an transgressors, to THE BEST automotive site on the Internet. We've come a long way babies and it should only get better. Congrats Jeff, Drex, and everyone who is a part of this community. I'm glad I have been able to do my part.

Great site, great information, great group of members and great participation. Thanks to all who make it great fun!

This is a great place to find everything X. I feel fortunate to be one of the first few members on here. In a little over a year I have had 3 X5s ranging from a 3.0 to a 4.4 and now 4.6is. The information on this site has helped me modify my car to be exactly how I want it. Jeff, Drex and everybody else running the show...thanks for providing all of us such a great place to find information and new friends.
