you know, when i had that X3 loaner car i had the chance to finally experience park distance control ...... and this is just teh first gen type, mere beeping and no graphical display whatsoever, not even lights ... anyway, i am surprised to hear myself say that i will NEVER own a car without it lol ...... and i happen to be a *VERY* good parallel parker anyway!!

When BMW used to make connecteddrive X5 prototypes, they had one that could do the same thing...

The real cool thing about this, is that the car takes one time to get the car perfectly in. No more parellel parking in & out's... Just one time and your done...

Hmm???
 

I wonder if it'll be as careful as I am about scratching/damaging the wheels with the curve????;)
