zaino is great if your paint is in good condition. its got a nice shine and last a very long time. nothing wrong with using it. but you will see MUCH better shine and luster from a properly prepared surface. however, if you got swirls, the proper fix is to polish it out. although zaino's label says its a polish, its really a top coat. polishes cut the clear coat down and even so its shiny again. the majority of swirls are cuts in the clear coat, so you have to "sand" them down to remove them. you can do this by hand or with a machine like the porter cable dual action polishers. |

most swirls are put on when you wash and dry the car... sad but true... thats why the use of MF drying towels are highly recommended. chamois, 100% cotton towels, etc all put swirls.. in fact, MF does some micro-marring that you can see if you put a halogen light up to it, but a top coat of wax will fill it in very nicely... i use only sheepskin wash mitts to wash and MF towels to dry... tons more tips from much more knowledge people then me over at www.autopia.org but i'm very happy with the results my process produces :D |
