When will the rain end??

The most rainfall in the month of March in Northern California since 1904 is wearing thin. 24 days with a dirty truck. What a drag.

Kris@modmynav 04-03-2006 05:22 AM

I'd like to know that as well.

one thing that I'm sure is "not in 10 days"

asawadude 04-03-2006 05:33 AM

Same story down here in L.A. Look on the "bright" side. It makes for dirty X5's but also nice soft landings on the green!

That really sucks. March went in the record books here for the dryest in history. I'm sure we'll pay for it one way or another.

Global friggin' warming caused by too many mods.

The planet is doomed! If we all go back to stock maybe we can save the world.

Michelle 04-03-2006 06:45 AM

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease send some rain here! We are extremely dry!

X5Flyboy 04-03-2006 09:45 AM

Well, Michelle, be careful what you wish for. :tsk: It doesn't look like you're about to get a gentle soaking rain. Just wish for sunny skies and balmy winds for 4/23-4/27 so I can get some golf in at Ocean City,MD. :)

Yes, we need a day or two of rain, so the golf courses can get back in shape. Just make sure that it rains during the week :)

I was hoping for that today....

I was going to play in a tournament this afternoon, but it has been cancelled due to rain

We pay way too much to live in the Golden State and should not have to put up with this

Bone Dry here in SW FLA this season...

Brush and dry swamp fires every day, our
course looks like a freakin goat track;
only a day or two of rain since we got
here in Dec.

MotherNature is pizzed and very erratic.

SUN I see SUN, you should try living in Poland after living in SoCal for 12 yearswe had snow and snow and oh yeah a little more snow and grey and snow and did I mention the cold minus 20 degrees Centigrade and oh yeah it was grey and snowy and cold since November until a week ago.

Now I'm sorry but I've seen both ends of the spectrum and by the way don't even start with golf I had to fly to Sonoma in January just to play 18 holes thats 6500 Miles!!!!:stickpoke

SANguru 04-03-2006 03:21 PM

Quicksilver 04-03-2006 03:36 PM

I need some sun. I wanna work on my tan, open the Panaroma roof, turn up my outstanding X5 stereo, with the windows open, blast some isley brothers, and get a party started.

Yep, one dirty SAV. Took it into the dealer for rear brakes today (21.6k miles) and they washed the car for me. But what a lousy car wash job they did! I would be ashame of it if I did it myself.

My little league team has their first game this weekend, and we have not had any practices outside. I am not looking forward to this season.

Quicksilver 04-04-2006 03:09 AM

Hey don't mind me. I'm waterlogged. Too much more of this and I'm gonna leave town and see if I can find the sun.

It's still raining this morning... The hardest part for me is when my dog has to "go", that's no fun.

Quicksilver 04-04-2006 12:46 PM

It's raining in the East Bay as well. Coming down rather nicely I might add. I feel for you though regarding the dog. even though i don't have one. Do you live near one of those no leash parks?

Yeah I live near one that is in Diamond Heights. I'm also only a few miles from Fort Funston (they call it dog heaven). We like to take him to those places for at least an hour per day to let out some energy (man, those JRT's have CRAZY amounts of energy). But we haven't been able to go for a WHILE due to the weather. Again this morning it was pouring :(

X5Flyboy 04-05-2006 06:14 AM

I'm going to have to join the "Where is the sun" crowd. It's 4AM at we have massive thunder bumpers (gotta shut down soon) - 5yrs here and this is the FIRST time this has happened. Normally, we like rain (and snow) because we usually don't get much (high plains desert) - Lately it's almost continuous overcast, sometimes snow/rain/sun all within an hour - Thanks to this winter and spring, it looks like our 6yr drought may be officially over. bye!
