Where do you go fishing? Darien, CT or Carrabelle, FL?
Do you want to be King of the Bubbas at the boatramp? Go Jeep. If you are hauling a vintage Riva on the other hand... |
problem is the tow rating on the SRT8 sucks. Really not the intention of the vehicle. The blazer SS has a much better towing capacity. Why not just lease a Ford F150?

I prefer Carrabelle. Spent the night there a few months back. Nice boats there, but a little quiet after the Citgo closes around 7 pm. I was sort of stranded there, and I bought tennis shoes, jeans, a couple t-shirts, toiletries, and sleeping duds for about $30 at the Dollar General. I wore the shoes out, but the jeans were sort of women's cut - tight in the waist, big in the hips, and tight in the thighs. Oh well, wadda want for $5?
Never been to CT. My wife thinks my Sea Ray is too expensive, I don't think I'll be hauling any Rivas around. We'll see how it works outs. Thanks for the input. |

Did you look at the cost of leasing the BMW 4.4 or the Blazer SS? |
I may look at the X5 4.4. I have almost no interest in a Blazer, so I won't do much research on that.
I have a 380 Sundancer. It's not much for a fishing boat, though I've figured out how to make it work for that. Mine fits the large area for sleeping, I/O description. Prior, I had a 185 runabout that I pulled with an X5 4.4 just fine. |

Big in the hips, tight in the thighs. After a few days in Carrabelle, that starts looking pretty good. |

Blazer SS
The Blazer SS is not your average Blazer it has the V8 from the Vet and most Mags like it better than the Jeep.
I love my X5 4.4 and pull a 23 foot Proline with it. Good Luck and Have FUN. |
