The Mac, imo.

go with the merc, especially if the ferrari is in marginal condition. it's a good deal only if you think it is. personally, getting a ferrari with curb rash and higher milage wouldn't be my dream, but then again, you're the one dropping all that cash on a ride. Which ever one you get, make sure to open up a savings account for the tickets you'll probably get. I went into my local stealership and they said I could get an M5 by the end of june if I wanted it. it's no ferrari or slr, but it'd be a great ride I think. I'm working that out in my mind, no matter how much car you get, $100K is still a lot of dough to drop! anyway, good luck with the choice and keep all of us posted!

why end of June?

there are M5s available all over.

SANguru 04-08-2006 09:44 PM

ditto what drex said. There are 4 M5's at the local dealer here sitting for over a month. Savings account for ticket?? ha.. There's something called 11-99 here.. it's like BMW prepaid maintenance. LOL

Caveat Emptor. The top is slightly misaligned too. If you look at where the cover lines up, there are scratches. Service records show they've worked on it 3x but when I tested it, it was still off. Good thing about that car is the 30K has been done at FoSF. They are good over there... (service not sales!) If you got 300K, I know somebody selling their Carrera GT... If you don't have 300K, one of my neighbors is selling a pristine 04 Gallardo in midnight blue.. $140K... :)

But..... that's the lowest price I have seen on a Spider anywhere! Very tempted to pull the trigger.

If the Ferrari were mint, I'ld say the Ferrari, but given the present condition of both cars, I'ld go with the MB....

I've got to get a job with a disk spinner, if you guys are able to toss around cash like that i'm on the wrong side of the transaction! :) :)

lol im still not working but i hope one day i end up like you guys buying these cars haha.... good luck i would say go with the slr if you have to pick from those two cars. or then maybe instead go for a lambo

LeMansX5 04-08-2006 11:58 PM

Neither! Buy the F430 spider F1 or Lambo Murcielago.
