Firefox Issues
Ok, starting today, i'm having issues w/ Firefox. i tried clicking
on the Carlos Mencia link and the gas station link, but instead of Windows Media Player opening, another Firefox Page opens w/ nothing but garbage. if i use IE, i have no problem.:confused: i tried completely uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling, but i still get the same results. any ideas?:dunno: |
Yea i got the same thing it was all weird characters, and it took of the comp resources.

...try eliminating the google tool bar....worked for me...

and it just started today? in a screwed up kind of way, that's good news. now, to figure out why it's happening. off to Mozilla's forums. thanks for the reply.;) |

Welcome to Firefox 1.5, folks. Worked fine in previous versions. I don't know what the deal is with this version.
Here's what I do to view streaming video links: Right click on the link and select "View in IE" in the pop-up menu. If you don't see this option you'll have to go to the Firefox site to download/install the IE extension. |
HoyaTerp is right. On some WMV files FireFox is not sure how to read the file so it presents the viewer with the compiled code. You can do a simple 'Save As' to view it.
