Firefox Issues

Ok, starting today, i'm having issues w/ Firefox. i tried clicking
on the Carlos Mencia link and the gas station link, but instead
of Windows Media Player opening, another Firefox Page opens
w/ nothing but garbage. if i use IE, i have no problem.
i tried completely uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling, but i still
get the same results. any ideas?:dunno:

Welcome to Firefox 1.5, folks. Worked fine in previous versions. I don't know what the deal is with this version.

Here's what I do to view streaming video links: Right click on the link and select "View in IE" in the pop-up menu. If you don't see this option you'll have to go to the Firefox site to download/install the IE extension.

HoyaTerp is right. On some WMV files FireFox is not sure how to read the file so it presents the viewer with the compiled code. You can do a simple 'Save As' to view it.
