solar system renderings
Ok so these first two images are obviously only showing the scale of the planets' SIZES and *NOT* their relative orbital distances.
And as you noticed, Saturn is "naked" -- I couldn't figure out how to make the rings look real... :( I'll try again one day when a new method occurs to me lol http://www.intriciti.com/temp/planets-line.jpg http://www.intriciti.com/temp/planets-line-angle.jpg But this next picture is HUGE -- 800 dpi -- which shows the relative ORBITAL distances to scale. Obviously, you cannot see the planets as I had to pull back so far just to see the whole thing that the planets disappeared lol. Even the Sun became merely a pinpoint of light. Accordingly, I'd advise you to right-click and save this file before viewing it. the ENTIRE solar system :) |
Hey that's pretty slick. I like! But the solar system link doesn't work. :(
