Hey guys, Check out this new website! Very cool stuff :)

Hey guys,
One of my friends just started a website called www.thecarshowcase.com - it's pretty slick. Basically it's a lot like cardomain, but it's a little bit more controlled. No trash or junk, just people showcasing their creations. Also, it has a much easier interface, with a much better look. They are aiming at showcasing more high end cars - should be very cool :woot:

As you guys can see, we have put our faith in this site and jumped on board as sponsors :D

Just wanted to share with you guys, I thought you might enjoy it. Also a great spot to host pictures of your cars :)

Thanks for reading!

LOL!

Yes, its a nice 'prepackaged' site.

Question: How can you sponsor a site that doesn't really have an active forum, etc., and not sponsor here?

Or, correct me if I am mistaken, are you a sponsor here?

To clarify, they are not a "Sponsor" but a "Preferred Vendor"

Sponsors provide financial support to the site and are given banner ads. Preferred Vendors do not have banners and generally have agreed to do some cross promotion of the X5world/X3world sites on their own site (a link exchange).

To answer your question, a few factors played into our decision:
-Cost. Because of our activity on many forums, we were easily able to triple the membership of that site overnight. As a result, we now get free advertising on the site :) We also will continue to help them grow and expand
-Our current arrangement with X5 world works pretty well for us. Because we don't have very many X5 products, our $150 a month might be better spent somewhere where there is more potential to earn it back. It's really nothing against this forum, but lets face it, we only have two or three really hot products for the X5.
