Kind of an annoying problem

This morning I dropped the 330 off at Concord Motorsport (an independent BMW service place near my house) to have the state inspection done, and to fix the brakes (the car was shaking violently every time I slowed down)... So they called this afternoon. Apparently it's not my brakes, it's the control arm bushings. So they're replacing those right now. Now, on to the problem:
I got in a minor accident back in December.. When I took the car to the dealer to repair it, they replaced the headlights. However, they put bi-xenons in instead of normal xenons... So the high beams don't work. That makes it so the car won't pass inspection. So.. Is there any way to reprogram a car designed for regular xenons to accept bi-xenons? If not, I'll obviously need to get the bi-xenons replaced with xenons.. But should we have to pay for them, since the dealer installed them in error?

I'd check w/CMS first in case they can do it for you cheap while it's there. If not, sounds like it's back to the dealer! GL Joel!

Dang dude, what's up with you and headlights? Have the dealer replace them with the correct ones. How on earth could they deny you?

They are sure it is control arm bushings and not warped rotors? Have your rotors gotten wet while they were very hot?

This is another thing that irritated me.. I specifically told them it was my brake rotors that I was concerned about. A few hours after I dropped it off, they called me and told me my brake pads were fine.. They said there was nothing wrong with the brakes and that it was the control arm bushings, but they hadn't even driven it to experience the shaking. My rotors HAVE gotten wet when they were hot, and I know exactly when they warped.. so that's why I was so sure it was the rotors.

hate to ask, but

didn't you notice that you did NOT have high beam headlights since December?

It really does suck - and the dealer should swap w/o charge if you ask me.

Thanks.
