for road bikes, I would primarily stick with Specialized or Trek. Great bikes for the prices. Schwinn IMO have yet to make a good road frame as has GT. Cannondale also makes a decent road frame but a little pricey and the quality is not on par with specialized or trek. If you want to not spend to much money, look at the Specialized allez or roubaix bikes.

I have A royce union. It was cheap but gets the job done. Its got ffull suspension and rides nice. I just took it out of the basement sunday and will be bringing it for a tuneup and general look over before i start riding again

I have a mountain bike. I only ride on trails and offroad.
Road bikes are for wussies!:rofl: Get some balls and go offroad. Then you will realize you need a suspension :thumbup: Of course no offense.

P.S. Byt the way i think im gonna go with the ZX14. I went down to the dealer and am pretty sure im gonna pick one up. The only thing holding me back is that im starting to consider a Fat Boy. I always wanted a harley and think im old enough for one now. But for now im set on the ZX14

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will definitely look for a shop either in Tulsa or around Nicole when I move next month. I like riding so much better than running, and it's easier on my knees and back.

I think most frames are well made these days. You pay a lot for some names like Cannondale and yet some of thier frames are made in China by GT.

I would not disagree about how comfortable and interesting a Trek bike is. However, I think there are many other promising bike brands out there such as Morpheus Bikes that are worth trying. But of course, for you to be able to make a choice, you have to consider your personal preferences and your lifestyle. Just think where you will be using your bike. That should be pretty much it!
