I did post a link to this post on the X3 forum. I don't know what the traffic is like there, and I wanted to share the good news with everyone.

I'm sorry (sort of :D)

I don't know that the CEO is into mods at all. That's mostly my domain.

Heck, I'm trying to figure out how to install aluminum running boards and an M5 steering wheel without: 1. her noticing the actual mod 2. her noticing the hit on the checkbook! :D

So far, the mods I've done are "minor": wheels, iPod, sunroof deflector... the running boards or steering wheel... well, that's a different level of modding... lol

Oh, yeah, you're right, doc. That X3 is VERY peppy, and it handles wonderfully. I think I'll keep my X5, though.

Congrats on the new X5, Juan. Looks like the CEO is loving it already :)
Now, if you manage to get another X (X3 or X5), you will be X-rated :bustingup

Well, it's a long story, but let's just say that we got one HECK of a deal on the X3 BECAUSE I had a "heart-to-heart" talk with the General Manager after one of the salesmen was using some incredible Bush-league and "used-car salesman" tactics, which I did not appreciate. (If you guys want the details, I'll gladly bore you with them.)

In any case, they went out of their way to make us happy, and gave us a great deal on the X3. So, yeah, the Jag will sit in the driveway for the next 30 days, and in June (when the lease is up), we'll dump that thing back into the dealer's lap.

Now, I've gotta to RTFM. :D

Thanks! As far as Hendrick: let's just say that they did not get off on the right foot, which is why I ended up having that "heart-to-heart" conversation with the Sales Manager; to their credit though, they more than made up for the initial bumbling. They made every OK, and in the end, it was a very good, smooth transaction. So, it all worked out... :)

Thanks for the well-wishes, and I appreciate your concern regarding my procedure. The short answer is that the CT scans show a mass hanging from the side of my right kidney. The radiologist thinks it's a tumor. The urologist thinks it's a cyst (which, apparently, is common with people how have kidney stones). I have an appointment for the 10th where they will do an ultrasound to determine exacly what it is.

We'll see... :)

Fingers crossed that it's nothing serious and that they have a course of treatment that is minimally invasive. Keep us posted, Juan.
