Memory lapse, who has the Prelude here?

Someone has a Prelude but I can't remember who? I was going to post some pics of my turbo 1997.

Vignesh does, I think.

BTW...I love your custom title. Fookin' hilarious!

Prelude pics:

1997 Won MIR the first and only time I entered it :)

You aren't going to see my NOS kit as I removed it before these pics:
This was also prior to my auto to 5spd tranny swap.

Nice prelude. Same color as Vignesh's car.

Wagner 05-17-2006 08:44 PM

Yah I sold it to a friend who then destroyed it... :(

PersonaNonGrata 05-17-2006 08:44 PM

That's a nice 'Lude Ryan.

Edit: That was a nice 'Lude. :(

Very nice Ryan. Did you use the vafc to tune for boost and nitrous control? My car color is Dark Eucalyptus Pearl Metallic. I'll post some pics when the weather gets better.

Edmunds just did a lengthy article in tribute to the Prelude..even though it's been gone for over 5 years. Good read.

Generations: Honda Prelude
"When it debuted in 1979 the Prelude wasn't much more than an Accord with all the pesky utility removed. By the time it left production 22 years later, it was, arguably, the finest handling front-drive car ever built and home to one of the world's great four-cylinder engines"

i have a 3rd gen prelude (the last generation of prelude that was made in japan). this car has the 2.1 engine and it only has 98,689 miles on it. the exterior paint is still the same factory paint that was on the car when i got it 16 years ago. i tried to keep everything stock as much as possible but i could not resist on changing some things on it. the factory sound system was replaced with an everything PIONEER system (AVH-P5700DVD, 6.5 speakers, subwoofer and amp) and i also upgraded the wheels to a 15" slipstream and i opted for the ground control coilover with tokico blues.

Nice car. The exterior 5g proportions and styling are remarkably similar to the 3g. Btw, all Preludes were made in Japan.

I used the VAFC to help tune the A/F for the turbo and nitrous mixtures. The VAFC was great until I got the AEM EMS unit installed :)
