Few Interesting Pics from DaView...

Weird fookin weather here on the Mtn., yesterday:
several cold rain showers, windy, occasional sun,
a touch of sleet here at 5K ft, etc.

These pics were shot in the space of a hourish...
Lucky grab on the rainbow; I've never had one come
out so well, as the dark storm clouds behind it in the
valley gave it a nice contrast boost.

Pretty clouds as the sun set behind me, yet peeked
over the ridges and light up the end of the storm
clouds. Every day is a different look and the weather
extremes make for some interesting views.
Thanks for looking...

Why in the hell were you standing around taking pics? Haul your azz down the mtn. in the Vette and get that pot 'o' gold!

Awsome! Did you use a polarizing filter?

Accella, no polarizer...I just have the std Skylight 1B filter/lens
protector on my 17mm-35mm lens, (25.5-52.5 in digi).

Yesterday's weather was well, MotherNatureCrazy and
changed from hour to hour. The storm clouds were
serious and brought downpours and then a lil'sleet.

All this was interspersed with blue sky patches and
sunshine. Interesting day, but not fun on the ball
chasing track earlier.

PS: I became "FloraDuh Ized"...these 32 deg. F mornings
here on the Mtn., are frosting my fanny.

You'll be warm soon...have you checked out the record temps in the Gulf?
