Bugatti watches

Anyone know where I can find some info on the web about them? I have a couple produced in the 90's (I think) and I can't find any info on them.

The Bugatti watch that's worth $ is the watch produced by Bugatti in the '80's and 90's (I think). Limited production. I don't know what kind of movement(s) they had but at least one model was 18k I think. Bugatti guys snatch them up whenever they find them.

There were also Japanese quartz Bugatti watches produced in the '90's with a Bugatti model silkscreened on the watch face. I don't think these are worth very much - but you never know. If you're sitting on the only known t55 tank or something like that, it could be worth something.

I'd start with the Bugatti clubs. I did a quick look through some of the horology sites I'm familiar with and didn't find anything. All that probably means is that someone else designed and built the watch for Bugatti and none of the horology quys think that's interesting enough to discuss.

Good luck! post a pic of the watches if you can. You've made me curious.

Nope. The one's I've seen were made 10-15 years ago and have traditionally-designed cases.

But DAMN that Parmigiana Bugatti is a cool looking watch! Probably costs six figures - but I'm sure they'll throw one in to wear while you're driving your new Veyron

Nope not the one. Thats a much newer one than I have.

Defenitely not the "cheapie" Japanese quartz models.

Do they run at all? Do you know if they have mechanical movements (the kind you wind) or quartz movements?

I particularly like the one with the crown at 12 o'clock - that's a pretty unusual watch.

Yes they run perfectly. The blue one is a little dirty though... They are actually in very good condition, I just dont wear them very much.

The Blue one has an automatic movement. The other one I am not too sure on the movement. I like this one as well.

I can't seem to find any info on them at all. Every search I do eith comes up with that new super Bugatti watch or cars.

The other one is apparently a swiss quartz movement. I ran a search of "depose ettore bugatti" (the words on the back of the watch) and found this: http://www.club-bugatti-france.net/29022005watch.jpg

Asking price was $399US - not bad for a 10 year old quartz watch.

The automatic could be worth quite a bit - it will depend on the movement and the rarity of the watch itself. I would still start with the Bugatti clubs. It might also be a good idea to take it to a jeweler who services mechanical watches and have them open it up to take a look at the movement. If it's a rare and/or highly sought after movement, the watch could be worth a couple grand - perhaps even more.
