cool , quick question which hotel are you staying at in paris ?

It was the Hotel d'Angelterre, on Rue Jacob. Claims to fame are that Ben Franklin stayed there while negotiating the end of the US War of Independence from GB, and also that Hemingway stayed there while writing a book. Very nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Within 5 min walking distance of the Louvre. :thumbup:

I am at the Rome Cavalieri Hilton. Very expensive, very posh. A nice break from the rest of the places we are staying, which are more "bed and breakfast" type places.

ah very very nice choice. Im staying at the Excelsior when i go in sept. I havnt stayed there before but i heard it is excellent. You wouldnt mind walking by and giving me a report by any chance would you. By the way you must be having a great time
