Ok i know this has been brought up before, but everywhere i go now, i hear the X5 is a soccer moms cars...and its pissing me off... is it really a soccer moms car... please shed some light for me. :mad:

i see a lot of old white hair grandmas in my area driving new 4.4s around. And then mostly dudes in their 30s driving 3.0s

nah its what you believe man. just drive it for what you like it for , who cares what others say. like the guy blackx3, he worried oto much about what other ppl said about his x3. the x5 isnt a soccer mom car if you dont believe it to be , lol

Why do you care so much about what others think of your ride? If it really bothers you that much, then go out and get something that is absolutely NOT a soccer mom mobile...ie, vettes, 911s, vipers, etc... The "soccer mom" term can be said just about any SAV/SUV out there, even the 4.8is or pepper TT!

Absolutely. Take a day trip over the TNB and head to the North Shore of Nassau County.... you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a soccer mom driving some flavor of X5.... L.A. is the same way, I was just there for a week and by far, most X's were driving by women. Actually, just head over to Larchmont or Scarsdale, save the toll money :)

That being said, I couldn't care less, I'ld buy another one in a heartbeat if it fit my lifestyle.
