Has anyone tried to assign a lease on an MB?

My aunt wants out of her MB lease, but unlike BMW, it seems that MB keeps you on the lease even if someone takes it over from you, which obviously isn't the ideal situation.

Do any of you have any experience with MB leasing? I'm extremely versed on the BMW lease assignment process as I went through it earlier this year, but I have no clue on MB.

Is there any way to get around buying out this lease and selling the car? any tricks/hints/suggestions?

I would go to www.leasetrader.com, they do it for a living, ask them :)

Good Luck!

thanks, been through that. I used them and swapalease to transfer my x5 lease earlier in the year. Swapalease says that they have a special deal for MB customers that absolves them of financial responsibility but lease trade says that the original lessee stays on the lease, so i'm really looking for anyone who has first hand knowledge of the process.

yes, we're beyond all of the basic stuff, which is why i'm looking for someone with firsthand experience who could possibly help with the process.

Reminds me of when you call a computer tech support line, and explain the long list of what you have already done to address the problem

<tech support in Delhi>Is your computer plugged in?</tech support in Dehli>
