Math Equation Help

Ok guys
can anyone help me solve this, my math is a little rusty right now:

(X+4)*12= 1000
What is X=?

not a math genius but I think X = 79.333333333

83.333333333 * 12 = 1000

X=(1000/12)-4

12(x+4)=1000
12x+48=1000
12x=1000-48
x=(1000-48)/12
x=79.333
