Help Building Local Community Oriented Forum
 

I've thinking about building non-profit forum for the Santa Clarita Valley CA where I live and work. Ever expanding Family Oriented Suburan area which I am proud of.

I've been in this forum since last fall and I am pretty impressed with quality of user input and great civility despite the fact every thing here is supposed to be anonymous. Yes, I am hooked

I would appreciate any input to get my project moving both technically and finacially; such as available scripts (I sure don't want to reinvent the wheel), an excellent hosting company or two, policies need to be enforced, perhaps marketing, etc.
