Cell Phones

Just got the Motorola Q - very good phone and it works great with the bluetooth on my 530i...

Just a recommendation for all those looking for a new smartphone. I was looking at the new Treo 700p, but it was a little too large and my older Blackberry was getting outdated...

Luckily it works with my E60. Does the X5 and X3 have the same bluetooth capability? (My older X53.0 did not).

thats what i hear i really want a treo and i thought this would be my solution but windows mobile and a billion+1 steps to do things just doesnt work for me

I got the Q about 2 weeks ago, I agree very cool phone but windows mobile sucks. Its a lot smaller than my treo 700, that thing was like carrying a brick in your pocket

so from those who already have it did you get it for surfing web, checking email as a phone or combination, i dont really need to edit files but i really want to get emails to the phone and surf the web

I tried a bunch of different phones over the past couple of years as web browsing is important to me, and I found the best one by far to be the Nokia 9300. It has a 640x200 resolution screen and the browser supports javascript and flash, so you can view just about any website. Most other phones are unable to handle the more complex websites.

thats exactly why i got my 700p. i bought a holster for it and carry it on my waist like any other cell phone. personally, while it is bigger than the Q, I like the size (although it could be lighter). i thought the Q was TOO thin, I drop it the first few times I handled it at the store. plus, it looks like a calculator :)

just really cant justify not only dropping 499 but also the 45 unlimited fee to top it off

nothing wrong with WM5.. very stable and tons of features on my 8125/HTC wizard. The moto Q in my opinion leaves a lot to be desires as compared to HTC.
