I got a hundred bucks, (big dough in 19 and 65), and me and two buds climbed into a 55 chebby loaded down like the freakin Beverly Hillbillies and drove around 32 states and Mexico for the summer. Beer, cheap whiskey, my first tequila, my first 'shine, first grass, first peyote, first visit to the ladies of Ciudad Juarez, etc. What a trip. Summer of '65... I love telling ol'geezer stories about how it was. Hope your friend keeps it between the fences. BR,mD |
