No work today here, it is a national holiday. Canada Day, July 1st, so we all get today off. Note the lack of responses from north of the border. Everyone is at a beach, lake, or campground, it seems.

I'm off today, but I'm working Wed thru Fri . Somebody has to round up the shopping carts and push them back to the store.

Another working stiff today, was pretty busy. Spoke to my daughter in England today and told her it was not appropriate to celebrate there-English have no sense of humor.

I'm with "Motordavid" - my release date was Aug, 2001 - gave my father one of the Flying Pigs for Christmas that year (he was still working)

Are we the only 2 here who get to experience the joys of the fruits of our labors? (24/7/365)

Did the Alaskan inner passage cruise in Aug, 1999 - excellent

Planning to drive up there next summer.

For the rest of you..., there isn't a tombstone out there that says "I should have spent more time at work"

Come up with a plan. How much is enough? What do you want to do? How old before you are too old to enjoy what you want to do?

Have you given the kids a good start? Then like that Sony Camcorder Ad, "When they ask where the money went, show them the pictures." (I REALLY LOVE that commercial)
