I dunno, I really think ours was worth it, I always dreamed of it just as it was so for us it was money well spent but I understand the hesitations of all that money for a few hours! We elected to get stainless steel bands vs Diamonds so we did cost cut certain places.

You disappoint me Ryan. A diamond is forever! Skimp on something else. NEVER NEVER on the rocks. :tsk: A diamond band would look sooo much better with the Chinchilla than a stainless steel band.

Thanks Everyone on the comments. We are planning on having a spring wedding in 08. Mainly because the banquet facility is a booked untill fall of 07. We both love this hall and are willing to want until then. But we will be looking to buy a house within the year so the extra year for the wedding will work out nicely. I don't want us both to be stresssed out on our wedding day.

Also we are both trying our best to not let the wedding snow ball. Her parents are very traditional and want to pay for the wedding but I'm hesitant to let them fork over that kind of money. We're opening a joint account and putting money aside each week to cover the cost. BUT they are from Jersey and are hard in-laws to change their minds. I love them tho, they seemed like family ever since I met them.

Anyone have any suggestion for a honeymoon?

Yes that's not THE ring that she's wearing in the pic that was a christmas gift that I gave her back in 2000 :]

BB,
I'm sure all of us are thrilled with your ring(s), but
this is SilverRob's engagement thread.

I, too, apologize for getting caught up in the extra-curricular activities. Again, Silver, congrats on the engagement! GL with the wedding plans, etc.
