I agree with you here. There is no need to whip 'em out for all to see. All you need is a little daiper cloth or something to keep the world from watching. Maybe turn the chair so you are facing the corner. My wife and I are very conscious about not making a spectacle of it.

Then again, I wouldn't mind whippin' em out for me to see. ;)

It's amazing how much your tolerance for OPK (other people's kids) improves once you have kids of your own. I wasn't a fan of kids until I had my first, and I think I changed my tune overnight! Now that I have 3, I am even more into them! Who is up for soccer practice?! ;)

I also find nothing wrong with not enjoying being around kids. I also don't enjoy being around kids and/or having to do anything with them.

I disagree that it's related to being gay or straight. I am straight, and I share blondboinsd's point of view when it comes to kids.

Get over it people - you make it sound like kids are something sacred. They may be to the parent, but there also exist enough people who choose not to have kids their whole life. Nothing wrong with that.

And back to the topic, I don't see why breastfeeding should be allowed in public. I don't see how the baby or child must be fed RIGHT NOW. Why can't the kid wait 30 seconds for the mother to enter the bathroom and then feed there? Or wait 60 seconds for the mother to enter into her car and feed there?

It seems to me that there is a certain aspect where the mother feeds on purpose in public to say "I don't care". Because if you think about it logically, it will cost the mother and kid NOTHING to wait 30 or 60 seconds and do it in a private location.

I honestly dont know WHERE exactly I stand on this, as I can see both sides... but I will say this...Breastfeeding is a very natural, innocent act of life...And the chic who said this, is an idiot..

Somebody please explain the fixation with seeing a breast? Weather breast feeding or just seeing it. What is going thru a persons mind that they are put off by a woman breast feeding a child? Is there some sort of sexual stimulation going on?? I guess some think so. It seems sad that so many people must have dirty minds and cannot mentally seperate the difference between breast feeding and sexual gratification. Maybe it has to do with the sad state of affairs in this world but it paints a picture of the warped thinking so common today. I agree that being discrete is important regarding something of this nature but it seems to me that far to much attention is being given to something that would not be a problem if people would just mind their own business by turning their heads.
