Cali has mini earthquakes all the time, we are WAY overdue for a big one

Still Alive!!! It was no big deal, lasted about 5 seconds, things shook at my house, nothing fell down. I am about 40 miles from the epicenter. Been through alot worse.

I give you guys alot of credit. Can't imagine feeling the earth move (unless of course I'm expecting it). Between the earthquakes out west and the tornadoes in the midwest and midsouth...I'll keep the good 'ol east coast any day.

Sweety much of the east coast is also earthquake prone, cities like New York City sit on fault lines that are capable of producing earth quakes. BTW HOT NEW PIC! Love it!

I felt two of them within the past 20 years but they were very mild ones. Almost felt like a train or truck passing by too fast, slight vibration.

Thanks on the avatar! Why do I find it amusing that you are calling me sweetie? What's wrong with that picture?

I call all girls sweety, don't ask why, on a side note, read my bitchy comment on the Mini chat and comment on it :P

Many of us don't even know about small quakes. The only way we know is when the media reports it and all too often the media makes it into a big deal. Believe me we have far fewer earthquakes than storms on the eastern seaboard.
