re: high altitude breathing - extended stays at ~5000+ft, your body will adjust. you will experience tiredness and possibly an achy chest as you adjust to thinner air(ie less oxygen per breath) (it took me 3 weeks initially to adjust to 4800ft Idaho where I live, acouple days now coming back from long stays on the east coast) - above 10,000ft effects start magnifying, especially for long periods (I think airlines pressurize the cabins to 8,000ft) - at 15,000ft you start doing really stupid things (like you don't already at sealevel?!?:tsk: ) before you eventually passout from oxygen deprevation - more or less the same effect as being drunk out of your gourd so you really don't have to climb to 15,000+ft to experience what it is like:D
