Is the heat wave over? I heard the NorthEast got a taste of what the West was going through last month with the weather.

Hopefully, all you guys out there are doing fine!

Hell no, its not safe at all. 25 deaths of heat related. Wait until this weekend pass. It hit 117 feels like in NOVA area yesterday. My eletric bill will be half of my mortgage this month. Damn it.

A cold front came through with some thunder storms last night. Today we are a cool 90 degrees - it hit 100 the last three days with high humitidy. It was like breathing water. Weekend forecast is mid 80s, low humidity.

Can anyone say poolside! I'll be floating on my favorite raft all weekend.

70s today in Boston. A bit humid though. The temps drop 20 degrees yeasterday in about 3 hours.

I just went out to get some lunch in midtown and the temps have definitely dropped into the "bearable" range... the humidity is still a killer though... ugh.

still feels like 96 F here in NOVA. It sucks.

Come on with the pissing and moaning...It's summertime. I'll take 100 degrees over snow any day. Keep it coming.

I'll take snow over heat any day... can always throw a sweatshirt on, there's only so much you can take off in the summer at work :)

I guess it is easier being female. Skirts and no sleeves. If you have to wear a suit it must suck.
