Doesn't Look Like a Man with Too Much...

Testosterone, to me.

What a shame...

Rigged, political, nationality based, denial,
stupidity, Svengali induced, above it all, all
of the above...who knows.

It seems like the everyone on the planet spends
all their day, angling for "that edge".

yah, amazing isn't it. If he is proven guilty, which it seems he would be, what does this show kids about sports...and more importantly telling the truth?

I remember watching an interview with his Mum after he won. They're from some small city and don't own a TV. No TV but you know where to find boosters:confused:

sad... sad...

He's from a very small town in Amish country about 75 miles west of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA). As a matter of fact, I bought my 4.6is at the Manheim Auction which is not far from where he lives. First I thought the French were just crying sour grapes again because the Americans have kicked their asses all over the French countryside and they were looking to crucify the new American cycling champ (especially since they were unsuccessful in proving Armstrong doped himself). But now I am thinking the worst is true.

Wow I just hit 200 posts I am catching up to some of the regulars around here (ha ha ha)

I don't know how he's going to get out of this one short of proving that there is a French conspiracy against him. Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. Who really killed JFK? :dunno:

The explanations he has offered so far are not sounding very plausible. Elevated levels of synthetic testosterone from drinking whiskey and beer the night before?

"Landis and his defense team have offered various explanations for the high testosterone reading - including cortisone shots taken for pain in Landis' degenerating hip; drinking beer and whiskey the night before; thyroid medication; and his natural metabolism.

Another theory - dehydration - was rebuffed by anti-doping experts."

Agreed,
I was thinking; suppose he is telling the truth. What a feeling knowing you been conned and there's no way the expose the game. :tsk:

I'm reserving judgement--because anybody competing at this level in any sport knows that if they win, a battery of tests will surely follow. How could you be so stupid? It is puzzling and sad that laboratories are the new referees.
