A great rivalry/game is one that draws a lot of attention/fan fare regardless of record and standings. No rivalry does this year after year like OhioState v Michigan.

In terms of national championships I would argue that recent championships are what matter, the game was so different 15 years ago it's hard to compare. I'm not a BCS fan, but the reason for it is/was to bring some real credibility to a 'true' national championship being won on the field. Consider the Canines v Buckeyes national championship game from a few years ago... Under the old rules, the Canines would have been handed the championship (or at least shared it). But, when the Buckeyes put a whoopin on 'em in OT, the REAL national champions were crowned.

So, continue to be a caines fan and talk about the olden days before you had to win a national championship. Continue to be a caines fan for a school with sub-par academic standards (not just the athletes). When you 'win' championships and become a research 1 research instituition like OhioState and Michigan - then talk about a great rivalry/game school.

If there are 4 Hurricane players in a car who is driving?

Obviously y'all ain't never seen a Texas vs. Texas A&M game...a rivalry over 100 years old!!! I'd put that one up against Big Blue & the Buckeyes any day. Texas vs. Oklahoma is pretty damn huge too.

Miami vs. FSU is a newer rivalry comparatively, but strong!

Who cares, a championship is a championship. Whether it is Felony Football or not. You think because you play for Notre Dame that you are a Saint? I will give you that you are ranked higher this year than Miami, but as far as Coker inheriting a dynasty and suspending 4 key players for the FSU game, I think he is trying to encourage our team to straighten up and fly right. Besides this year Miami players aren't the one firing weapons first...only firing weapons in defense. I am from Miami and will always be and live by Miami rules. I come from a tough background, my grandfather used to punch out horses!

Notre Dame just hands out Chastity belts to their players and they drink Holy Water during halftime. Touchdown Jesus hasn't done anything for you in almost 20 years (1988)...Maybe you should ask Tom Cruise to help you win a championship this year. Scientology is in this season You guys will get picked off by Penn State and Michigan this year. 2 losses will not look good for you this year.

As far as numbers go how many first round draft picks from Miami in the past 15 years. More than any other team. Felons or not.
