Exactly my thoughts. I still think that.

This crazy guy is a just a publicity hound, I don't think he did it.

rayxi 08-18-2006 12:12 PM

Whether he did it or not he sounds like a crazy sick mo-fo and I hope he gets locked up anyway.

Didn't you guys read about him giving authorities details about the killing that have been kept secret for almost a decade? If he didn't do it, how would he know these details?

There are lbs of bs/"reports"/"data" floating around about this
deal. The Thai "officials" are now recanting some of the
Christmas timeframe/drugged her "reports".

It may take some time for even an inkling of the story to get
out and clear of the media spin...

That DA looked like she was running for the PTA at yesterday's
"news conference"; what a waste of freaking time that was.
One woulda thunk that her "team" was dragging OBL back
from the cave, by his balls.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, that Sumbitch is one fookin
weird dude. I don't think he'll have much fun or, a long stay,
in The Joint.

There is due process and the DNA results need to comeback. Even if they match, he is not guilty until a court convicts him. If the confession was enough to make someone guilty, why even have a trial? You might as well as go directly to sentencing.

As a few others have stated, this guy is just weird. You have reports that some believe he has never been to CO. Now you have that he was a patient at a sex-change clinic.

How would he know some details that have never been made public? Maybe he knows who killed her. This guy was writing letters; maybe he was in touch with someone else as well. That someone else could have been the real killer. You also have the old statement that the DA's office knows who did but said there will never be an arrest.

This one is going to turn into a media circus not seen since the OJ trial.

Yahoo News: JonBenet suspect heads to U.S. in style

Excerpts:

As Karr wined and dined in style and chatted with the three U.S. officials escorting him, another bombshell emerged: Reports that Karr sought treatment at a Thai sex-change clinic.

Karr, dressed neatly in a red, short-sleeve, button-down shirt and black tie, was not handcuffed while being whisked through Don Muang International Airport in Bangkok. At the departure gate, he talked amiably with fellow passengers.

The 41-year-old teacher sat in a business class window seat next to Mark Spray, an investigator with the Boulder County District Attorney's office. A U.S. Embassy official and an agent with "Homeland Security" on his T-shirt were also part of the escort party.

Before takeoff, Karr took a glass of champagne from a flight attendant and clinked glasses with Spray, who sipped orange juice.

Dinner on board, served on a starched white tablecloth with silverware, was one many passengers would envy. Karr started with a pate, then had a green salad with walnut dressing. The main course was fried king prawn with steamed rice and broccoli, followed by a slice of Valrhona chocolate cake for desert. Karr drank a beer, crushing the can with his hands when it was empty, then moved on to a glass of French chardonnay with his main course.

"It seems odd to me. If there is an arrest warrant issued, he ought to be under arrest," said former Adams County District Attorney Bob Grant, who was involved in the Ramsey investigation. "It is very strange. Whoever is in control of him ought to make sure he isn't doing things like drinking champagne."

Other experts called the royal treatment a brilliant strategy.

If Karr says something incriminating that is challenged in court, the investigator who was sitting next to him simply says he was never in my custody, said Denver attorney Larry Pozner, past president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

"There is always a reason when the unusual happens," Pozner said.

Let the bullshit begin.

This is a wierd case with a class one wierdo.

But I'm with Dr. Smith, I think he's attention seeking. None of the reports I've seen recently contain any evidence thats damning.

IFlyX5 : I would'nt be surprised if Karrs non-public knowledge comes from his contacts in the child porn underworld; he has a prior conviction I believe ? ; either that or he knows the perpetrator personally. He was asked if he was inoccent and answered 'no'. He could be referring to being an accomplice or withholding information.

Lets hope the real culprit of this heinous crime is found and punished.
