Cell phone etiquette?
 

Is there such a thing. Should one use it.....................?????

#1 While driving?
#2 If you have a passenger in the car
#3 In an elevator
#4 In a Restaurant
#5 On a Date
#6 In close proximity to others you don't know
#7 In a hospital
#8 At a sporting event
#9 On a job intreview
#10 On vacation in connection with work
#11 In a movie theater
#12 At a broadway play
#13 At a concert
#14 In a classroom

I"m you all get the point. What do you believe??

Not on #3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 (unless emergency), 11,12,13 and 14, imho.

I'm guessing #6 covers this, but I'm gonna say it anyway:
In the waiting room at the doctor's office! UGH!

I use it in the car constantly, even if I have a passenger in the car because in the case of my X and I, both of us we're usually on our phones lol, I use it in the elevator, dunno why I wouldn't, sometimes but try not to in a restaurant, i've used it on a date but try not too, who cares about others I don't know, I have used it at the hospital once, not at a sporting event, not a job interview, I've always used it on vacation if it works, not in a movie theater, never a broadway play, never a concert and I have in the classroom, I'm adding another place i'm ALWAYS on my cell, AT THE GYM, ESP when i'm on the treadmill, I've been known to yak the whole cardio term, I love it!

I HATE cell phones! I do not use unless absolutely necessary. That being said, I know others must. I think it is rude to use in all cases shown above, unless of course it is an emergency. If I need to use my phone in any situation above, I pick myself up and go outside or where I am alone.

Hows about the little bimbo that seems to feel it is necessary to talk on her cell phone about the great BJ she gave some guy the night before while she is in line, at the counter, in front of me at the deli in the morning....True story.

It's called courtesy. I always try to "get away" from others when I can. Partly due to my desire for privacy, partly due to coutesy toward others. I know I'm not into "really important cell phone talkers."
