Who's going to the Superbowl???

Yeah I know it's a little early but what's your best guess. Do ya think T.O will make a fool of himself again???

TO will definitely make a fool of himself, already has. Nice part is Tuna is a prick so much like the General up in New England, I doubt he will put up with a lot of sh*t. Got to love how the team PR people already have uttered the phrase "there is no issue with TO". How many players go to a team and make the PR peeps pass out?? All I have to say is WOW to the NFC East. The division hasn't been that hard since the mid 80's where everyone but the Eagles were winning Superbowls.

I think the more impressive story this year will be when Matt Lienart falls apart and proves useless (at least that is my mystery pick for the future). There are still some teams to watch out for that haven't receive a ton of lime light.

i.e. The Dolphins for one, they now have a real QB and already had a pretty impressive squad last year,

As for SB picks, yah WAY early. Since TO has never played in the offense Dallas runs, he'll be interesting to watch. The Steelers (after last nights game) seem to have some major kinks to work out at running back to replace Bettis and at receiver, even though Ward didn't play, since Randal El left town. The Seahawks had their moment in the sun, the Colts...well while they will probably still post good numbers there isn't going to be any undefeated season this year, Patriots...following the same road the Red Sox are.

Teams to keep an eye on: NFC Carolina, Philadelphia, Washington, Dallas, New York...and OMG...Arizona??

Teams to keep an eye on: AFC Chargers, Broncos, Colts, Dolphins, Ravens

So SB pick...hmm......: Eagles/Dolphins (my dream) Chargers/Washington (closer to reality)

The season will open and close the same exact way:

With a Giant's win over the Colts.

You have a few 49'er SB wins to keep you warm during the season... they'll be back...

nupe10123 08-28-2006 12:36 AM

The Colts will win it all this year! I'm not a fan, but I really think it's thier year.

Probably won't happen, but it would be nice to see the Eagles go again... and win this time.

I think it was funny as all hell watching reporters Monday morning saying the Eagles were nothing because they had no deep threat in a West Coast offense, then the Eagles get Donte Stallworth (4.2 40 time) and all the reporters went quiet.... :)

Quicksilver 08-29-2006 06:45 PM

T.O. overslept?   http://calsun.canoe.ca/Sports/Footba...83434-sun.html

Yeah, heard that yesterday morning while driving and forgot to read online about it.... stupid question, who's Donte Stallworth and where'd they get him from :o :slap:

EDIT: Nevermind, it was in Quicksilver's link

DONTE' DEALT: Still looking to replace Terrell Owens, the Philadelphia Eagles acquired wide receiver Donte' Stallworth from the New Orleans Saints yesterday.

The Eagles sent veteran linebacker Mark Simoneau and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2007 to the Saints. The trade is pending both players passing physicals with their new team.

Stallworth, the 13th overall pick in the 2002 draft, had 70 receptions for 945 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He has 195 catches for 2,791 yards and 23 TDs in 56 games, including 32 starts.

"We're bringing in an experienced receiver that's coming off of a great year with the New Orleans Saints and he'll fit in nicely into our receiving corps," Eagles coach Andy Reid said. "He's got tremendous speed and quickness and he catches the ball very well. He's good with the yards after the catch."

The Eagles have been looking for an upgrade at wideout since parting with Owens, who had 20 TDs in 21 games with Philadelphia. The team considered trading for Javon Walker and had conversations about Ashley Lelie but wasn't willing to give up higher draft choices.
Bolded because it just makes me shake my head why such a good player like TO can be a total ass. Just sad.

Roc3b 08-30-2006 10:33 AM

OMG the Fins are the most overrated team this year.

Roc3b 08-30-2006 10:34 AM

NFc championship game Dallas vs. Panthers
Afc championship game Pats vs Broncos

Pats over Dallas for the title.

yeowzer 08-30-2006 11:03 AM

Broncos will get to the AFC Championship game this year, again. Jake Plummer will crumble, again. :tsk: One more year and Jay Cutler will take over.
