Bozo - here's a chart showing the rise and fall of British Leyland and it's ultimate fragmentation to U.S., German, and Chinese carmakers. What I didn't know was that BMW still owns the Riley brand. However, the chart shows BMW as part owners of Triumph. As far as I know, the only Triumph around these days is the motorcycle company which states on their website that they are a privately held 100% British company.
