So i'm going to Manteca for a wedding on saturday morning (driving up there) so I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on anything off the beaten path to see in SF we're just going to be there sat night and sunday until mid-day

Take a look at my history, I don't care what people think :) I've been to SF many times, done the fishermans warf thing, the city lookout point, golden gate etc, I want to try something different, besides I can't be responsible for idiots :)

I love San Francisco, what a great city. Giradelli's Chocolate :thumbup: Dungenous Crabs on the wharf. Irish coffe at that place whose name escapes me at the moment (I had more than coffee). Sausalito <sigh>...I keep hearing Otis singing in my ears.

If I were going to SF, I'd head straight for Chinatown..

Really? I've always wanted to do China town and Sausalito IS beautiful, I wish we had more time *sigh*

Love SF. I've yet to have decent Chinese food in Chinatown. Go figure. :dunno:

haha no way, really? Maybe its like Mexican food is different them ameri-mexican food? I just booked our hotel so I'm stoked, got a KILLER deal on It

I think it's a case of me not knowing SF Chinatown and where the real Chinese food is compared to the American-Chinese food. Last time we were there we looked in each restaurant and counted the black-tops and didn't stop until we found one with at least 90%. Maybe I need to ask Josh for recommendations next time we go.:rofl:
