Goooooooooo Giants!
And THAT ladies and gents, was one hell of a comeback win! WHOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!
|
I'd say it was one very LUCKY win! But still a win, congrats anyways...
|
If that's the way the Gints are going to win games this year the basement of the NFC will have lots of company.
|
Goooooooooo Ravens!

If M. Lewis hadn't handed you 14 points on a plate....there would have been no OT. Damn our secondary pisses me off. I have never understood why anyone in the secondary, other then B-Dawk, was ever sent to the Pro-Bowl. They handed the game to the Giants..but a loss is a loss.
As for the Ravens commentary...yah way to beat the Raiders..perhaps the worst team in the NFL....I'll wait to draw a conclusion after the Pitt and Cinci games. |
Manning was sacked what? 8 times? and threw 3 INT's. Clearly a case of the Eagles thinking that they had the game won and relaxing. What was McNabb thinking getting into it with Pierce? dumb dumb dumb....
|
gresch, see you didn't argue my comments about the Philly secondary... :)
POO. Meanwhile...we all need to be watching the Jets/NE game............looks like another NY team looks like they might win. |

The kicking penalty in the OT was dumb too, usually it's the Giants who pull that crap. Now if the Yankees can salvage a split tonight against the Bosux and the Patriots can hold on to beat the Jets, it will take a LITTLE sting out of the ND loss yesterday.... :( |
Don't look now, but the Jets are try to duplicating the Giants' effort. They just put up 17 points in the 3rd quarter against the Pats after going scoreless the first half.
BTW - nobody will get past San Diego. I'm still kicking myself for not buying a Superbowl future on them at 28-1 when I was last in Vegas. They may have played two hapless teams, but they have talent at every position (including QB). |
and the jets are done....
on to the Yankees/Bosux game.... |

Way to go Giants!

When USC, Michigan State, and UCLA have the same strength of schedule as ND come talk to me. And remember, you can't spell SCUM without U-S-C! ;) |

I do agree with you about USC/SCUM (I'm a Bruin alum). USC might be playing for fun (on probabation) by the time they play ND. |
Maybe it's a good thing I didn't get to watch the game yesterday. And here I thought to myself, it was probably a hard fought game, still worth watching cause I DVR'd it... Giants must have won the OT coin toss and went on to win. Read this, and see the Eagles BLEW it  Figures :( Hopefully Reid ripped them all a new one after the game.

Unless you are Andy Reid, in which case it was a debacle. Horrible play calling (let's see, whatever worked in the first half, let's not do that again), horrible decision making (turnover on downs with over 8 minutes to go), horrible plays (Westbrook fumble, 15 yard penalty before the game tying field goad) and some horrible injuries (the 'Freak's' knee) on top of horrible player conditioning. GO BIG BLUE!! |
GO PATRIOTS........:nanana:

Yeah, I just read about the game on philly.com. I about cried when I read about the injuries... and then to see Kearse may be done for the season, or a good half of it :( In one week I'm slowly watching what could have been a great football and hockey (Primeau retires after not being cleared) season start to go downhill. I'm not giving up yet though. I'll still be in front of the TV every Sunday cheering on the Birds... and hockey hasn't even started yet :D How do you blow 24 - 7 though... and why why why let Buckhalter run on 4th and 1  |
