yeah, i can't believe Phil/Chris lost in the AM and Tiger/Jim lost in the PM. i think the euros have a lot of momentum now and a good cushion. maybe the us can play better tomorrow.

you know what really grinds my gears though: we can't we get a LIVE broadcast!!!! tape delay is ridiculous!

I think they need the Psychology gurus to help. These guys are all choking, bigtime!!ouch: :loco: :tantrum: :swear: :explode: :drunk: :scared:  :taz:

It almost seems like 12 CEOs getting together for a week and trying to
"bond"/get along/do team crap, vs. 12 guys from very diff. backgrounds,
all of whom "work" for the same co.

The US looks pained and full of powerless effort; the Euros look like
they are enjoying the event and, each other and have effortless power.

We should have a mini poll on which US player loses the tipping point.

What a fiasco...Tom & Corey shoulda suited up and played.

I find it interesting that the US record in this event is rather poor. Can someone please explain why that is aside from the fact that the other guys are better.

This Ryder Cup team suffers from the same thing as US Mens basketball, selfishness and individualism. This country has always pushed 'stars' and when it comes down to being a part of a team, its too difficult to comprehend what needs to be done. The entire sports nation (including football, baseball, etc) continues to deteriorate as there aren't any truly 'great' teams anymore that last to be a dynasty; free agency, AAU, show companies have ruined many sports.

I honestly can't see when or if the US will ever win again in either sport.

Seems difficult for the US to come together as a team in a sport which is individual to start with as a professional. Agree it could be some of the "all about me" syndrome. Also we pick guys who are not winning at the time it comes to compete.

I finally get my wish of getting live Ryder Cup coverage and the US is losing so far in singles. I thought this is their strength? I guess they'll just take another ass whippin.

Congrats to the Euro Team!

They kicked azz and took names, and
it was some remarkable golf, on both sides.

A well done win. :)
Cheers & BR,mD
