May he rot in hell. If he IS dead, the only regret I have is that we did not get to kill the sonofabitch ourselves.

Most likely....you can't be that f-d up and survive too long in the mountains IMO.

LeMansX5 09-23-2006 11:05 AM

Most probably hiding in Pakistan, keeping a low profile.

X5Jay 09-23-2006 11:07 AM

I doubt he's really dead - but I can see how it would be beneficial to him if the world thought he was dead...

carlos3679 09-23-2006 12:06 PM

Come on...The French are reporting this?

Eric5273 09-23-2006 05:29 PM

I think he is living in a suite at the top of the MGM Grand.

Wherever he is (assuming he is still alive), I doubt he is hiding from anyone. ;)

PersonaNonGrata 09-23-2006 05:37 PM

Osama who??? ;)

Quicksilver 09-23-2006 07:01 PM

Why do i agree with PersonaNonGrata? :dunno:

That is likely as well. Everyone seemed to think he was dead back in 2002, but then they all suddenly changed their minds and brought him back to life.

CNN: Pakistan's Musharraf: Bin Laden probably dead

CNN: Karzai: bin Laden 'probably' dead

BBC: Bin Laden 'probably' dead

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation's counter-terrorism chief, Dale Watson, says he thinks Osama bin Laden is "probably" dead.

LeMansX5 09-23-2006 10:19 PM

I don't believe Pakistan's Musharraf or any news till they find his dead body. My guess he is playing Xbox with his kids  somewhere in Pakistan and Musharraf is helping him.

Osama without burqa in Cali

The CIA has been "certifying" that the voice on the tapes is OBL, as recently as late August 2006. He might be dead now, but his death was probably recent.

People love conspiracy theories.

They sure do:thumbup:

Seriously tho...if you heard a poor quality tape of Rich Little doing Johnny Carson, how would you know it's not Johnny? If Osama's still alive why doesn't he show himself? Why hasn't he made a video tape in years?Hmmmm...

I have a feeling that the CIA is using a little bit better technology than haveing a couple of agents standing around a Polycom rubbing their chins going "yeah..... i think that's him.... let's tell the world" :)

X5Jay 09-24-2006 09:56 AM

I still think it's all a ploy to make the world think he is dead - until the next attack... BS...

I'm with you Sunil!

ylwjacket 09-25-2006 02:27 PM

Does it really matter? It's background noise. The fight is far from being with him.

If he's proven to be dead, a lot of the 'fight' goes out of Al Qaeda's junior operatives.

jwilburn 09-25-2006 04:28 PM

Yeah he is dead. I am expecting for the US to release the news right around election time.

LeMansX5 09-25-2006 06:41 PM

Meanwhile, Omar al-Farouq is dead.

X5Jay 09-26-2006 08:38 AM

FYI - Taliban says he's not dead... http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapc...eut/index.html

Wagner 09-26-2006 08:42 AM

As if they would come out and say "yup,he's dead"

X5Jay 09-26-2006 09:16 AM

I would think they'd want us to believe he's dead, no?

Wagner 09-26-2006 09:24 AM

Not in a propaganda type of game, they don't want their "wanna-be" followers to thing their main man is touchable.

Ba-Da-Bing!:iagree:

X5Jay 09-26-2006 03:14 PM

His followers would would know the truth - at least the close ones certainly.

Wagner 09-26-2006 03:43 PM

Close ones aren't the ones their worried about. When is the last time Bin Laden was out on a suicide attack :)

Eric5273 09-26-2006 06:20 PM

So far I have seen nothing to indicate that these terrorist groups suffer any harm when their leaders are killed. If anything, it seems to motivate them and we see more attacks from them, not less.

According to the Pentagon report released earlier this month, in the 3 months since al-Zarqawi was killed (June-August), the number of attacks in Iraq has increased by 24% to 792 per week compared with 641 per week during the previous 3 month period.
