 Good for you L.
You should lecture "how to avoid tickets.." seminar at WFIV with paid admission.

Only twice in my life I talked out of tickets.
Once, she was a female cop. I had no Driver's lic in hand and was speeding (+10 mph) but she felt bad for me and let me go, I was in a family van with my niece.

When I was working at local police part time during my college I got a speeding ticket. The officer didn't remember me when he wrote me a ticket. But at the court, he remember seeing me during one of his donut break.
He told the judge he didn't remeber ever the incident.

It is always good to be one of them or related to them.
