Question for Sanguru
 

Hey is sanguru selling his M5? I just saw it on the M5 boards. Anyone know why? Ive been gone for a few weeks so sorry if this is old news.

As far as upgrading its not possible. There is no other 4 door sedan that I would consider an upgrade over the M5. He must be going a different route maybe a sports car. Let me guess P car TT or F car 430

There are actually many 4-door sedans that would be an upgrade to the M5 in my opinion.

You can start by calling in the direct competition...like the Benz E63 AMG and new Audi S6. Then you go up the ranks and find the Benz S65 AMG and Audi S8 (to those, BMW still does not have a competing model).

The beauty in these competitors, and what makes them an "upgrade" compared to the M5 is that they are all available with an automatic tranny. The Audis offer AWD, and S-cars and AMG-cars are just more civil in general daily driving.

as always you make no sense. But oh well we are all used to it by now. First of all the S class mercedes and A8 are both in a different class. They do not compete at all with the M5. they compete with the 760. Second You can not say that the E63 or S6 are an upgrade in any way and most you can say it is a lateral move. And the fact that you are saying an automatic tranny or awd is a upgrade in a car of this type means you know shit about what the M5 is really about. And personally I hope you never buy one because you dony understand it enough to love it. The M5 is about all out performance in a luxury sedan. Since when does all out performance incluse and auto tranny. The fact that they are more civil in daily driving doesnt mean shit to the person that buys a M5. All thay want is to redline there 500hp V10 on a daily basis. Like I said before stick to your mercedes minivans you call an ML And stop talking shit about BMWs on a BMW board. Go bash bimmers on a benz or audi board. By the way You should go to M5 board.com and say this shit and see what replies you get. In My opinion the M5 is the ultimate midsized luxury performance sedan if your # 1 goal is performance. Nothing else compares. It invented that class as well as many other classes it has invented. So go buy an auto tranny benz or a awd audi and shut the hell up.
