20's and Boots

So I was talking to this girl about how much she loves the 20's on her FX. First becuase she feels like a Baller, and second because she said the city can't boot 20's.

Does this sound accurate?

DC can't because they're using old ass boots, but Arlington might be able to!

Well arlington they just tow. Thats why I take no chances. God I can just see them pulling me head first by the axel or something. *shudders*

Wow I was totally stumped for like 5 minutes trying to figure out what the hell you were talking about, then I figured "boot" meant tow, as in Tow Truck... Around here they tow anything my buddies Denali with 24's on it got drug for 5 miles to an impound.

A guy down the street has an FX. Never noticed the wheels, the car is so funny looking I must have skipped what the wheels look like.

No, "boot" is a device attached to the wheel, preventing the driver from moving the car. Usually for parking violations.

Those are 16 inch wheels on that Silverado and it doesn't look like it fits so I can't see why they wouldn't put that on 20's.

They drive pretty well though. True I like my X better, but they arent all that bad. Just hard to see out of though with the high hood and huge C pillar.

So it seems yes, 20's can be booted...but only if you are in a city that actually springs for new boots. Good to know...not that I have 20's but hey, the more you know....

You forgot the cheap-nasty GM-Like interior quality

Haven't heard but she ought to just avoid risking the boot. :tsk: They can always tow her rolling clown shoe FX but they'd need to play the proper circus music during the tow. :D
