the money pit
 

I am finding out the hard way why a home is called a "money pit" - the list of things needed (eventually & immediately) just keeps growing :confused: - thank god I don't have to take care of the outside - a vacuum and a "Swiffer" are rapidly rising to the top of the immediate list :rolleyes: - I'm hoping that I can pause on the rest until after the New Year for anything else, given the expense of the holidays coming up shortly

darn if I know why I'm writing this - guess I just need to vent some frustration - time to take a deep breath and let it out slowly - I have to admit I've gotten alot done - I guess the good news is the 2 spare bedrooms are still empty, so it's a great excuse not to have anyone visit :D - the bad news is the home theater is not up and running yet - thought the installers were due today, now it's probably next week - guess I'll have to move the bedroom TV back into the living room - I really hate moving things twice ( which is probably one of the reasons I'm still single :rofl: )

Well it's off to bingo - don't laugh, it's paid for alot of gas and some things for the townhouse - Hawaiian shirts rule! - only twice have I not yelled "bingo" while wearing one - wish me luck, I really need that vacuum

But there is nothing more rewarding than finally getting it all together and having a place that's truly yours. Hang in there Mark.

Well, I won't be wearing THAT Hawaiian shirt again to bingo - Oh well, at least my check from my IRA came in today - guess a "cheap" model vacuum will do me for awhile - now if I can get the home theater installers to come in - I'd do it myself, but power tools are after getting the garage setup, which is after ...,etc,etc,etc - besides it was paid for with the equipment - I really want to start falling asleep in my lazyboy in front of my TV again
