It is beautiful. I heard it will be 70 in Denver later this week. Bye bye snow.

She hates winter like me :nanana: Honestly my X3 doesnt like it either. The stupid "somethings" in the suspension creak and groan over speed bumps.

By the way, someone answer this: What's worse for driving......wet or dry snow?

The reason I ask....I know wet snow melts in to slush and invariably freezes. But the first time I experienced the dry, powdery snow was not fun. It was a cold, 23F midday and my mom was taking my friend and I to someone's house. Cars were doing 360s on the highway and the X3 was sliding around like a slithering snake.:thumbdown

For me dry snow is easier because i know what i'm driving on and I can expect a certain type of traction, wet snow tougher because you can't always tell if roads are wet or it's black ice, plus the slush just throws you around.

I put on my snow tires last weekend. 6 months on summer ones and six month winter ones. Here in Germany they treat winter tires seriously. Mind you the speeds you drive on unrestricted authbahns ( I cruised to Berlin from Cologne on 160 hitting from time to time 200kmh, legaly) you dont want to have all season boots. No good in winter no good in summer.
