Just kidding, but it does look like Cylon's attack on Caprica, but I digress...I took this pic from our backyward. There is a fire in Riverside County. Even though West Fest is in the same county, the fire is nowhere near it so far....

Looks a little like the fires of 2003 when even in Redondo Beach we were getting thick smoke and ash all over the place. Hopefully it does not get that bad. Best of luck!

Who would have ever though of "jumping" into the atmosphere, launch the vipers while Galactica is on a free-fall and then jumping back out to space!! :wow:

The interior of my '01 wound up trashed because of those fires. I was driving up the 405 and didn't realize i had the back window open a bit and some embers made their way inside and scorched the back seat and rug... I was not a happy camper. (in the grand scheme of things, those who lost their houses were obviously more important, the burn marks on my interior were trivial in comparison)

Yeah I grew up in Scripps Ranch, NOT a fun day! 300+ homes lost where I lived, I remember driving home and it looked like a war zone :(

My mother called me in a panic. There's some big ass fire around here somewhere - they're saying it's arson. 3 firefighters died and they are evacuating.
