World of Warcraft...

Maybe it's my new 30" cinema display for my Mac.. Maybe it was the South Park episode season premiere. Maybe it was just my own curiosity..

What ever the reason, I have decided to buy the game Warcraft and am about to install it on my cpu..

I really have no idea what to expect as I was never a dungeon and dragons guy but I figure with six million Warcraft users, there must be something fun about it. So I laid down my $50 and here goes.. I am about to enter the world of Warcraft..

Wish me luck.

Good luck installing it on your CPU... Installing it on the hard drive might work a bit better! :D

Really B, have fun. I've never tried it either but there must be something about it with all those participants. Just plan to spend hours upon hours building up your character!

I was a "late adopter" as I knew my live would go away once I started playing... trust me, plan to be addicted, and spend 2-8 hours a night playing... And it is a great game.

I installed the game in my PC 4 month ago, but I haven't really got into it for the same reason I don't shoot heroin. A friend of mine is a experienced 'clan leader', I have to check the correct term, he logs in 30 hrs/week or more.
He claims to meet a beatiful Spanish attoney during the gaming and dating her, of course his wife is very understanding. Good luck.

I played for 3 hours last night and all I did was run around and kill wolves.. I couldn't help but think, is this all there is to the game? It was about as exciting as a fart smelling contest.

The correct term is "Guild Leader" :)

There is much, much more to the game. And once you hit level 60, it completely changes into a whole new game.

Anyone here play Marvel Ultimate Alliance? First time playing an RPG style fighting game, pretty cool!

Dont know how long i'll stay interested though.

I bought a 31" LCD HD screen with dual 512mb 7900gtx vid cards for the pc, highly recommended for all you HD freaks out there, all i can say is wow! what a difference.

If you can still find a copy of Shadowbane, that was a very impressive MMO. To bad they had so many problems at release.

I've been thinking of getting into a game like this. Back in the old days I used to play the old RPG's like Ultima and Might & Magic. With everything being online these days, it must be even more fun. Can anyone here comment on how this game compares with those older games? I'd imagine the graphics and interfact are much better due to better computers these days, but is the general idea and RPG system still the same?
