Wow. Great story. Unfortunately, not a very common one. People just dont trust anyone anymore, and its saddening. Whenever I get back to the good 'ol USA, people think Im some sort of crazy stalker because I've developed a habit of saying "Hi", and "How are you" to people I've never seen or will never see again. But even here, its totally commonplace. In the Far East, its even more appropriate. May sound corny or whatever, but its actions like the one you took that change people's minds forever about trust, forgiveness, and understanding. Good job!

Heart warming story and well done, you will be surprised how many people would have turned a blind eye to the woman.

That is SO nice and sweet of you, Neils. Thanks for doing that. You're a great guy.
The amazing thing is that the poor lady surely got lost on her way to vote; yet, some people won't vote because "I moved," "I have no time," "I did not register," whatever... all bullshit excuses. In any case, great job, Neils! :) Juan |
Helping others is one of the best things a person can do for themselves... Just as the others have said, thanks for sharing your story. It helps to know that there are still caring people in our really messed up world.

Good for you Niels. It's a great feeling when you do a good deed, isn't it? It's too bad more people don't take the time.
